
Doug “Dug” Falk is a composer/musician living in Tampa, Florida. He has completed a bachelor’s of music from Knox College, master’s in communication disorders from the University of Houston, and master’s in composition and theory from the University of New Mexico. He has studied and performed in many styles of music on trumpet and double bass. Dug’s compositions explore stylistic juxtaposition, boundaries between emotions, and humor in music. His music has been performed by professional ensembles in the United States and internationally. His principle teachers include Bruce Polay, Karola Obermueller, Peter Gilbert, José-Luis Hurtado, and Patrice Repar. He shares a house with his beautiful wife, two wonderful daughters, and an energetic dog.
